What is Venturing?
Venturing is a program hosted by the Boy Scouts of America, for young women and men ages 14-20. Through outdoor adventure
activities, sports and hobbies, teenagers develop life skills and team leadership.
The Venturing program develops around the relationships of youths
to the adult communities. Venturing crews experience exciting activities that help youths develop skills in leadership and
pursue their special interests.
Venturing programs are designed in order to build character, promote
citizenship and develop personal and mental fitness. The venturing crew is able to design and create their own programs along
with the help of their fellow adult advisors.
